Easter Saturday and Sunday, April 8th & 9th 2023
The Princess staff had a wonderful time putting together a family Easter party on Saturday for the children on this cruise. On the night of Good Friday the bakery department made and designed large chocolate eggs. The staff members marched their eggs into the Atrium where they were placed on display. I took a wonderful video of all the eggs on didplsy but the file is too large to upload. Sorry but maybe you can get a flavor for their talent with a couple of pictures. They guys were all so proud of their individual eggs. Placed them with care on the display. Had their pictures taken and enjoyed proud moments. See pictures below.
On Saturday afternoon they held the party with the Easter Bunny and Stanley the Princess mascot. The staff wore bunny ears and had a wonderful time with the children. (I’m sure many were missing their own.) They had a story reading and paper egg making with all the supplies provided. Egg hunt and other fun things for them to do. There were only about 2 dozen children from what I saw but there could have been more after I left the area although we really don’t see many children on the ship.
To our delight the dining rooms and/or buffet served Matzoh ball chicken soup, borscht, roasted and pickled beets and kielbasi on the buffet to go with eggs for breakfast. Unhappy for me as there wasn’t a pierogi in site. All the food was very good. We were happy.
